Click on the story link for more information on the Book Fair, the 4th Grade Program, and our first School-Wide Enrichment Day coming soon!

You can always count on a major change in the weather to lift the spirits of the students! Last night's cold front sure has brought out the jackets, sweaters and scarves. Make sure your child's name is in their jackets, as we are already building a rather sizable lost and found collection.

Here are some upcoming events that might interest you:

  • It's Book Fair time! Our fall book fair, themed "The Enchanted Forest," runs through this Friday. The PTO is hosting a Burgers, Books, and Bingo night on Tuesday. Dinner will be served from 5-6:30, and Bingo will played during that time in the cafeteria as well. Pre-order forms for the burgers went home earlier in October, but extra burgers will be available until they run out. The Book Fair will be open until 7:00 PM.
  • 4th Grade will be performing the program "Forever Learning" on Thursday, the 18th. The school performance is at 2:00 PM, and the community performance is at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria. We look forward to seeing them shine!
  • Friday, October 26th, is RP's first school-wide enrichment day, "Book Character Day." We will be celebrating famous (and not-so-famous) book characters in all of our classes. We will lead off the day with a parade of characters around our track (weather permitting- rain plans will be sent out if necessary), and enjoying a full day of celebrations. Much more to come about this event.
